Automate Your Grow

Total Control

Nate Controls gives commercial cannabis growers total control over their growing operations with innovative sensors and controllers, and powerful cloud-based software. We partner closely with our clients, creating customized solutions that enable cultivators to increase yield, potency, and quality while alerting to potential problems in real-time.

Monitor and control your entire operation from any smartphone, tablet, or computer with our cloud-based platform. Gain full visibility into current and historical growing conditions to optimize yield and maximize consistency.

With Nate Controls sensors, you can monitor your complete environment and get alerted when anything falls outside of spec. Keep tabs on air temperature, humidity, CO2, O2, and atmospheric pressure.

Create a repeatable grow environment with our recipe-based plant management system. Program in your desired conditions throughout the day and the system will manage temperature, humidity, CO2, irrigation, and light levels. Test out different grow conditions in a way that’s easy to measure and repeat.

Our cloud-based software lets you monitor and control your grow operation from anywhere in the world, on any device. Plan out your grow with a recipe-based system, monitor all environmental conditions, and get notified of problems.

Information about the cultivation environment and the associated equipment is collected from a variety of sensors and stored in the cloud continuously and automatically. Current environmental conditions and equipment status is viewed on a live dashboard. A variety of reports and charts enable the cultivator to make intelligent decisions and react based on historical trends and insight into the current status of the grow.

The sensor data and equipment status is monitored 24/7/365. Anytime something goes out of the specified range, an alert can be automatically sent out to a list of personnel via text, email, or voice message. Appropriate staff are notified to ensure action is quickly taken to address an issue before it turns into a problem while reducing the risk of damaging or losing valuable crops.

Recipes are created to specify the desired growing conditions based on time of day and day of growth. All parameters affecting plant growth can be defined in a single recipe. Different recipes can be created for each unique strain of plant or growing area. Recipes can be fine-tuned over time to optimize the growing parameters.

The cloud software enables the user to control greenhouse equipment manually or assign a recipe for autonomous control ensuring consistent and repeatable results.

You can’t control what you don’t measure, so it’s important to measure everything that affects the plant’s ability to thrive. This is the first step in creating a controlled environment ideal for healthy plant development.

Accurate sensors combined with data analytics enable the cultivator to make intelligent, data-based decisions and to understand the impact subtle changes in the environment have on the harvest. This visibility is crucial to getting consistent and repeatable results.

When plants are at risk, every hour matters. The earlier a temperature spike or equipment problem is discovered, the less impact it will have on valuable inventory. Nate sensors provide remote, real-time monitoring and notification that alerts growers about an issue before it becomes a problem. Our sensors make it easy to monitor conditions so the grower can maximize yield and minimize crop risk.

Maintaining the air quality in a greenhouse or indoor environment is crucial. Fluctuations can stress or damage plants in as little as a few hours. Nate Air Sensors provide a cost-effective yet powerful way to ensure plants stay healthy.

  • Maximize plant yield
  • Ensure optimal growing conditions
  • Prevent widespread plant damage (or loss) from mildew, pests, or disease
  • Realize significant cost savings

Nate sensors work together with the rest of the Nate Controls ecosystem to provide fully automated data tracking, logging and cloud-based analytics as well as enabling closed-loop control of the plant’s environment. They provide all the key metrics for ensuring the air in the greenhouse or indoor grow is optimal for healthy plants.

Accurate control of greenhouse equipment is essential for creating and maintaining a healthy growing environment. Our controllers provide precise and repeatable automated control reducing labor, reducing chance of human error, and increasing efficient use of water, nutrient, and energy resources.

The Nate Automation Master is the process computer that executes recipes and manages communication with sensors, grow lights, the cloud, and one or more Nate Controller Modules. The Controller Modules provide the hardware interface to control greenhouse equipment.

Both modules are easy to install and maintain and are optimized for horticulture applications. The system architecture is modular allowing hundreds of Relay Output Modules to be connected to one Automation Master. Equipment can be wired to any available physical channel on any Relay Output Module and virtually assigned to the appropriate process output, providing maximum flexibility and customization.

The Automation Master is a powerful and intelligent process computer that faithfully executes user-defined recipes based on time of day and day of grow cycle. It monitors sensors and controller status and manages data flow to and from the cloud. It follows the recipe parameters to perform closed-loop control of the greenhouse equipment by sending commands to one or more Relay Output Modules to regulate things such as air temperature, humidity, CO2 concentration, irrigation times, and nutrients.
